Thinking before acting
A poor man named Krishna has owed money from Ramji who was the head of the village. As he didn’t had much earning source, So later he was unable to pay.
Owner came and started asking for money. That time he had nothing to give him. But he had his pet dog whom he loved like his kid. So he decided that he will be sending his dog with Ramji and Ramji will keep his dog till he returns the money. Ramji agreed for that and took Krishna’s dog to his home and went away.
Krishna started working hard to earn the money, but at the end could not earn the huge amount.
On the other side, the dog was helping the Ramji in his things. Ramji was very happy with the his work.
Later, after six months Ramji realized that the Krishna treats the dog like his son. And this dog has paid all the amount which Krishna had taken from me. So, now I can go ahead return the dog to Krishna.
Ramji wrote a letter and mentioned “Your dog has helped me a lot and paid the amount you owed. That’s why I am sending your kid back to you J”.
Ramji tied the letter in dog’s neck and sent him to Krishna. As soon as dog reached, Krishna saw him and thought I didn’t pay the amount which I owed, then why my dog is coming back. Thoughts started running in his mind. He got angry and thought I brought this dog up like my son. And now he betrayed me. He didn’t understand anything. In anger, he took his gun up and shooted the dog. The dog died on the spot.
After some time Krishna went to see his dog and realized that the dog is no more. Krishna saw the letter which was tied by Ramji in dog’s neck.
He opened and read the letter “Krishna, your dog whom you brought up like your own kid. Actually he has paid all the amount which you owed from me with his work. Although you are not rich enough, but you have the richness of your dog. I am sending him back to you ”.
Tears of sadness started rolling from krishna’s eyes. He realized the honesty of his dog and started cursing himself for his own foolishness. But it was too late now.
So moral of the story is “Anything done in anger leads to the regretting in the end.”
“Thinking before acting is wisdom. But acting before thinking is REGRET”
